They need more riders! Can you imagine if they would have lined up a whole field, complete with crews and umbrella girls? Then had them ride around town at the speed limit. Now that would have been impressive!

Impressive indeed - to restrain their egos so much. But then of course somebody is going to try to cut through the turn over a sidewalk and there goes the drama :justkidding:

Oh by the way, if BMW get involved (which would be awesome), they better get their electronics package sorted. They can't keep the tires on that S1000-RR in SBK.

I could see that happening...BMW is getting the Mini team ready for WRC and they have deep enough pockets to put a factory team in on S1000RR's.

Wonder if they would. If they joined in as an official team, they would have to play by the same rules as the current teams... They should do what Ducati is doing in WSBK, and not have a factory team anymore but still deliver heavy support.

Kind of like they have supported in the past the BMW Sauber F1 team
