My dad crazy added a Bourget Python

not my cup of tea, but it is a nice bike for what it is.

I hope i am still riding and buying bikes when i get old...
 
yup looks like one of those bikes you put in your garage and look at it... looks very uncomfortable to ride.... I really don't think I would wanna see the insurance cost though.... wait till he sees the price tag on that rear tire....
 
So if you don't mind me asking...how much was that thing? I'm kind of afraid to ask.
 
Nice looking bike, maybe he whats to pick up chicks with it.

I like to think of 67 as middle aged, it would mean that I am still a kid.;)

not from my point of view.

and from a technical view the country's GDP has to be negative for two successive quarters to be in re recession and that hasn't happened since 2000.

Blame it on hype.

Perhaps it's an acquired taste, perhaps it's an American Thing.

Choppers like this represent the outer fringe of the custom bike movement here in the States (in the "long, low, loud, and stripped down to the bare essentials" direction). Born of 'chopped' Harleys, starting sometime in the 50s or 60s, they're built for show, not go. More or less custom made (depending on where you buy and how much you spend), one of a kind pieces of art, that you can ride.

It's as beautiful as a tricked out Streetfighter, a lit and lowered EVO with full graphics and NOS, or any other marriage of Steel, Tech, and Sweat.
 
It's very cool for what it is! I was thinking about making a kit one in the same vein as that (a Big Bear Chopper), but decided I wanted something else like what we all have. That thing is nice, but low tech - these things we have are pretty hi-tech, ride better, faster, better mileage, etc., etc., but whatever you like is what you like & I'm not knocking it! MHO!:rockon:
 
There's a guy in Huntington Beach with a badass Harley chopper in his beachfront all glass living room as a showpiece...doesn't look ridden.

If I had the spare cash, I'd do that...except I'd buy the MotoGP bike Rossi just won on!! w0000.....then take it the Rock Store and be famous forever!
