Hi all new here as I have owned my 2005 fz6-ns 1b35 rj074 for one year. Need some advice on my Speedometer that has had rain water ingress and was wondering as my Speedo had three plugs on it as in one six plug, one four plug and in single, and want to replace with the same but all I can find is ones with 2 plugs of one six plug and one five plug. Could I repin my main harness to two plug instead three plugs. And would it work exactly like the original one that I am replacing as previous owner use a soldiering iron on it and melted the edges.
TIA

As long as the wiring follows the color codes you would be fine. When rewiring I would disconnect the negative lead on the battery to ensure you don't cross a live source to the wrong circuit. There is one wire that is always live that holds up the clock etc.
