new member/owner, semi-new rider

Hello everyone,
Just got my FZ a couple of weeks ago after not riding for 10+ yrs --- I rode for a couple of years back then, and now not even exactly sure why the hiatus... Great to be back riding, even greater with this bike. And I'm finding all kinds of fantastic info on this forum already!

I think it was a kawasaki 600 (ZL maybe?). Man, I can barely remember - it was actually a friend of mine's. He had a couple of bikes and didn't ride that one, so he said I could learn and ride it
