I am going to use some of my "old-timers" privileges to ask a question that has come up many times before, but I don't have the time to search...

Who provides OEM parts quickly with reasonable shipping rates? I have used Mr. Cycles and Ron Ayers in the past but both are sneaking up the shipping rates out of sight.

Thanks in advance...

I have used ronayers a couple times. They are ok

Doing a google search yielded quite a few matches for yamaha parts. I think they all source from the same supplier.

When buyng the uber expensive fuel pump recently I saved about $20 by buying from westfield yamaha. (spent a good amount of time searching)

I just ordered a bunch of radiator hoses from powersportsplus.com. Again spent the time to look at prices from 5 or 6 places on the web to get the most cost effective deal.

It seems prices differ from part # to part # so if you find the lowest price on one item that same supplier may not neccessarily have the best price on the next part you need to get.

I just ordered the R1 pod lights off boats.net. They were about $1 cheaper than anywhere else I saw (at least for this part #).

Incidentally powersportsplus.com is owned by boats.net. They were out of stock on one the hoses I needed. So I had a simultaneous live chat with the same guy on both sites

Cali - you did ask about shipping. I think these rates are pretty good (powersportsplus.com)

USPS First Class Mail
$0.01 - $10.00 dollars total $1.75 shipping
$10.01 - $60.00 dollars total $6.95 shipping

FedEx Ground
$60.01 - $100.00 dollars total $9.39 shipping
$100.01 - $149.99 dollars total $13.58 shipping
$150.00 - $199.99 dollars total $17.78 shipping
$200.00 - $249.00 dollars total $20.93 shipping

$250.00 and up free shipping within the lower U.S. 48 states

Thanks, these are fair and reasonable rates.
