Greetings House!!

I fell while trying to avoid a pedestrian who dashed across the road and damaged my bike a little. I had a few scratches; thanks to my riding gear. However, my bike has some injuries. Please help me identify this part (circled in red in the pic below) so I can order it and replace it.

Thanks in advance.

Oil Pump Cover. Part# 5VX-15416-00-00
Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear you are ok.

Its actually the timing chain cover. (part #16 below)

They call it on the parts fisch, as posted above: cover, oil pump:

Double click on the image to enlarge it or open the web site.

BTW, its easier to change it without unplugging the pick sensor from the cover. You will need to put a short working stool under the old cover adjacent to the bike. You'll also need a hand held, screw impact driver as the screws holding in the sensor are EXTREMLY TIGHT and very likely WON'T come out with a screwdriver alone.. You don't want them stripped...

Thanks a lot guys, lemme give some more info I should have given earlier...It's a 2006 Yamaha FZ6S, The part is on the right hand side, close to the oil gauge dipstick. I'm thinking oil pump cover...

All 3 above posts are telling you what it is. (The year of your bike is below your username in the top left corner).
