Purchased a PCV from a member. Its in transit now and was wondering if anyone here has used a PCV on any fz6 older than a 2009. If you did what was the result?

I cant see why it wont work? I dont think anything changed from 2007 to 2009?
They even have a map for my setup: M22-014-003 Two Brothers slip-ons, Stock air filter, All gear map

I can't find the thread now, nor remember the user that posted it, but there's at least one person on here that has a PCV on his '06, and it works just fine. I'll probably get one eventually for my '06. I keep telling myself I won't, but we all know how that goes.....

PCV is the $hit! I got one for my 6R, big difference! I got the Autotune too to map my custom exhaust. End up with some very solid map. The cool feature with PCV is the Acceleration pump, got some life out of my overweight/underpower cycle...

I use 2 map. One I call touring (I got 53 MPG out of it this weekend, usually 46) and the other one is my sport advance map (38MPG if driven hard, but great power...) In advance mode you can have a different map for each gear, so I use sport map 1-4 and touring map 5 & 6 for fuel economy.

Don't be afraid to try few maps... it won't hurt your bike as long as the numbers are in the + (- is leaner) Not sure about your bike, but the 6R like to run a little "fat" in the mid range.

Yep it will work fine, got this reply from Power Commander Technical Support.

O2 sensors should be disconnected. No issues at all with the PCV and that model.

Power Commander 5 arrived and I installed it tonight. The PC5 is for 2009 but I contacted the Tech Support and they said no problem on my 2007. I have two brothers on so they told me to use the 2009 map - M22-014-003 Two Brothers slip-ons, Stock air filter, All gear map

I have not gone for a ride as it is raining right now but just in neutral at idle and revving it I can tell there is a big difference. Way smoother and the Pops are gone ...cant wait to get it out for a good ride.
