Question regarding FZ6 current Cruiser rider.

thx you for everyones response, now to go for a hunt!!

so the Fz1 bars are more comfortable? i do not wish to lean forward as much

Even with the fz1 bars you will still be in a very uprigh position, you will lean a little more foward but mainly its the angle of them that helps for comfort compared to stock

Go find one to sit on and try out the position before you look into bars and such. I'm 5'8" as well and I can sit straight up with my back perfectly vertical and both hands on the stock FZ6 bars.

^^ +1

I mostly depends of the place where you sit on the seat.
Some sit in front (against the tank), while other sit in the middle or even more to the rear (against the "hump" to the pillion's place).

Grtz,

i find the stock fz6 bars extremely comfortable. i have 3 bikes and i find the fz6 the most comfortable. the stock seat sucked though. i bought a new gel seat for $150 and no probs after that. i have put over 600 miles in one day with no issues.

Congratz on the purchase. Go easy until you get real comfortable riding before you go above 8K. Your bike will scream with acceleration. Just be ready for the launch and your surroundings. You will exceed the speed limit!

btw, :needpics:
