I'm ordering a pair of Rizoma bar end/sliders for the big B. Eventually I want to update much of the switchgear on my bike; grips, brake and clutch master cyclinders, rearsets, mirrors and turn signals. I really love the LOOKS of Rizoma, and from what I've bought the quality is very, very good.

So if you own a pair of the Rizoma grips what do you think??? Comfortable? Good shape? Good grip?

Thanks! :cheer:

Hellgate, I've got those grips in blue and the quality couldn't be better! I put them on this summer after a cookout at PJ's house, where he and Paige convinced me to go with the blue (my adjusters on my Pazzos are blue).

It was definitely a big change from the stock grips, but damn, they're so comfortable! That small channel that runs around the inside part of the grip? It's perfectly placed for your index finger. And the rubber part is replaceable if you ever wear it out (although I think it would take a while to do that).

Installation was a breeze. You just have to figure out which of 3 cams that come with the grips works for your bike. Just slide it on the end, hook up the throttle cables, and twist. I tried all 3 and it took me about 10 minutes total.

For around $60, and for the quality that they are, they're definitely worth it.

Here's mine:

I love my Rizomas, you wouldn't think so but they're super comfy, and top quality. I have the Rizoma bars, grip, bar ends combo, and I get way more vibes through my foot pegs (which are also Rizs LOL).

You wont be disapointed Hellgate. I'm liking the smaller diameter grips for my girlish like hands:cheer:

However I am just a little disapointed with their mounting system for their bar ends however. Unlike the facotry 'screw in' bar ends, the Rizoma's rely on an expanding rubber insert. This was fine on the left side bar, but on the throttle side I can never seem to get it tight enough as if I crank it down, it cinches up too tight against the throttle and makes the throttle hard to operate and 'locks' it on.

I even had the throttle side bar end fall off once....luckily I noticed right away and wnet back and found it.

Anyone else have this issue with their Rizoma bar ends and/or have a sloution?

Piece of plastic from France??? What the heck is that...Wavex from a mold?

Hellgate, you'll love them. I had difficulties with getting a good fit on the right side without binding the throttle. Just had to play with it a lot to get a good fit. Other than that...great product.

Love the mirrors, very clean looking!

Do they make them in different diameters? I read Boneman's comment about his girlish hands and smaller diameter. ;) :rof:

Do they come in a larger diameter for the manly hands? :D

I don't think so, the only option when ordering from PJs was color. You could wrap them in duct tape I suppose..

actually kind of...................

Mini fairing for a '03 GSXR 1000 headlight that is going on the FZ after the nightmare of a Chinese turd I bought originally........... Exchange rates and shipping make it a rather expensive piece of plastic.
