so Thanksgiving just came around here recently and i got to go home for a week and put a couple hundred on the FZ but just as importantly i got to really wring out the ridiculous purple people eater of a shifter kart, that i bought at the beginning of the summer. i looked up some specs and here they are:
CR125 hp:
(stock) => 43hp at 10,500rpm (redline at 11,5K)
(blueprinted carb & pipe) => 47-48 hp
weight:
190-210 lbs wet
0-60 for the average shifter is around 2.5 - 3.0 seconds
braking is just plain scary fast.
i was to chicken to take her above 4th gear in the massive church parking lot, but my buddy who was filming said it looked like i was doing 70+ mph (in 4th of 6 gears

)
the new conclusion is that its so involved to drive that its only fun when you get out and think "wow that was ridiculous lets take a brake, the do it some more." its not exactly fun while actually driving it. like i said in my reaction video, it's "unspeakably fast" and corners like a cat on carpet, the lateral G's are tremendous.
and the bad-ish news:
I think i want to sell it.
yep, i decided that since the little bro is big enough to ride my old honda 230, and ive been wanting something bigger anyway, i need one'a those orange Austrian beasts known as KTMs:sinister:
i think im goin to try to find an EXC250-F so i can make it fully streetable, and buy some Excel SuperRetard wheelios and buzz around town on it. and insurance should be dirt cheap on it.:rockon:
