Last month was expensive....

Last month was expensive for me.

- Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires, front and back
- Mojoblocks for my tire changing setup
- Another pair of summer gloves ( motorcyclegear.com had a killer sale )
- HJC FS-15 Trophy helmet ( again, a killer sale at the same place )
- EBC HH front brake pads for my R6 calipers. ( Went to change tires and saw that my front pads were shot.... )
- Synthetic oil and fancy Bosch filter

I'm liking the new helmet.
I'm liking the new brakes.
I'm liking the new tires. But, I need to get used to the different turn-in feel of these tires as compared to my Road Attacks.

It's not FZ related, but something I'm proud of

Locomotion has cost me in the last four weeks.

1) My '01 Saab did not pass Safety Inspection, because of the tires. There was still enough tread left, but they were dry-rotted! Since the GF dumped me, and I got the FZ-6, the Saab just hasn't seen much use and the tires were over 7 years old! $600.
2) The very next week the "Check Engine" light came on. Took her into the dealership and learned my Ignition Module was going out, they had just one in stock, did I want to replace it. Yeah. When the final paperwork printed out I learned it was the last IM left in North America! GM let Saab go bankrupt a year ago, and the parts supply line is drying up. :Flip: $950.
3) She started rather slowly this last weekend, Saturday afternoon she barely started at all so I hit the local parts store for a new battery. While swapping them out, I realized my car still had the original battery; my car is eleven years old!!! I guess I can't complain about that, too much! $125.

On the eve on 2012-09-01 I rolled the dice and bought a new used car. My current ride has 255,000 faithful and reliable miles but I just don't have the time or patience to keep up with its needs. . .

Sport Touring Mazda6 V6, 6spd Auto, fully loaded. . .

What to do with old faithful!?! Yoda, You over engineered this car, its Die Hard! Still runs great!

bought a euro key from ebay, feels so much better in the hand. and bought/received/installed my 12pc led kit from LEDglow, great kit just need to button up some loose ends and find a spot for the 12th led strip lol

I have the lower belly pan and I really want to find a way to fit the last strip in there

2006 FZ6 $3,200 with less than 6,000 miles! Also came with Givi top case that I rarely use, but the mount rack is a great place to strap stuff doing townie duty. Love it.
