Right now I'm good for the Oct 14th, Sunday 'coz I'm also off call at work.
The missus also gave me the blessing as long as there's no shenanigan activity and she'd like to see me home by the end of the day.

absolutely shes more than welcome! ive been goin to bear mountain when i was my ninja250 and i guarentee u that she will do a lot better in those turns than we will bc its so easy to handle on a 250

I actually rode the same route few weeks ago. I was also lucky to actually spot a Black bear within few feet.

Anyway, the curves on this route aren't really that bad. I think she should easily do them.

I also ordered heated grips.

But they won't come in on time. Boo!!!

That 50 mile ride back home is going to be chilly.

Was that your usual initial pre-trip test ride? I hope you had on full gear especially since it's been cold lately.

Someone was selling the whole headlight setup about 2 weeks ago, I dont know if the S2 and S1 parts are the same or if he even sold it yet... but if so, its the heck of a lot cheaper than new.
