What car(s) do you have/drive?

I technically don't own a car but my company vehicle is an 08 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4. I'm the sole driver of it. My wife has a burgundy jelly bean...er... a 98 Ford Windstar Van I get to drive occasionally.

A Ford Falcon XR6.....which i am about to replace....

Great Car, awesome for towing bikes, dragging kids around, and getting sideways occasionally!

I didn't raise my KW Coilovers in the winter...:spank:

I owm a 98 ford escort. bought her 2nd hand in 2002. very reliable car. bought it bog standard. changed the engine to an 1.8 td complete with a/c and powersteering (yes it did not have powersteering) then i changed the seats to full leather ones, i m slowly turning it to ghia spec. previously owned a 91 renault clio that i totalled, pretty strong car it was and had decent reliability as well.

2010 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab LE 4x4.

It's my first truck an I must say 4 door pickups are the best thing homeowners can get.

It's also unstoppable in snow and comfortable on long rides. More quiet inside than any other of my previous cars.

My buddy had a t5, undestructable car, one of the last good volvos, and it can hang with a lot of quick dailys out there.

My girlfriend has a tC, its cute! I recently installed ricer headlights on it with 55w hids lol ;)

A good buddy of mine has a turbo tC those things a monsters boosted, I was very surprised!

Thing of the past? They still have some of the best performance cars in the 20k-35k range and about that renisis -sp? I herd that mazda offer the first rebuild on them for free because they wernt lasting to long, imo mainly because ppl who own the rx8s dont drive them like tthey were ment to be driven....above 6k alot

Correct Rotaries are ment to be beat the piss out of. Mazda made the biggest mistake by offering it with an Auto Transmission. And I remember that warrantly was raised to past 100k miles on it.

Also a lot of owners do not know how to maintain rotaries. Oil changes every 2,000 miles, checking oil every time you fill up your gas tank, adding oil to the gas tank to mix with fuel for Apex seal lubrication.

Also its best to use a special oil on them, I've used Motul 10w-40 2-stroke synthetic and ever since i changed to it, car ran like a champ.

Its not an average person car, lets put it that way.

Ya ive never owned one myself but one of my buddys had a rx8 and i finally convinced him that he needed to dog it to keep it running right, mainly fron my understanding is so that all the seals and bearings are properly lubericated. But too many people who own them dont realize that and what they think is babying their car is causeing a slow and painfull death to their engine

People often talk about the tC being a girl's car. Honestly, I like the demographic results because my gf likes to ride in my car and with positive female response, the resale is only sure to increase= smart buying decision.

I still have a factory warranty, so no turbo for me. I get my cheap thrills from my FZ6.

Unless I trade it for this:

Still debating if I should, though:confused:

I've owned two 7's and other then regular oil and filter change with regular oil there is nothing else you have to do. You don't premix unless you remove the oil pump or racing. The newer apex seals need no special attention. The 3 and early 7's did have some apex failure. Some owners would think the engines were burning oil and add stop leak additives gumming up the pump or making the apex seals stick.

My second RX 7 was a 88 NA, when I sold it it had 183k miles on the original engine. The only thing special I did was to always use low octane fuel and mineral based oil.

A beasty Nissan Pathfinder. I believe you guys call it a Terrano?

Brings back memories, my family back in Russia had a first gen Terrano (Japanese import). Then we had a second gen one, Pathfinder, imported from US. But that got rolled...
Not sure what they are called where. In the UK, I believe they are pathfinders.

This makes very interesting reading. Here in UK you do not get so many pick-ups or SUVs. Even though I count myself quite knowledgeable about cars, had to wikipedia some posts!

I stick with the Jap brand's Toyota and Honda, I have an 03 Toyota Tundra and for my wife I had an 03 Acura TL Type S,but it went under water,so now she has an 01 Acura TL .....
