Where do all those bullets go?

Being a complete dickhead when I was 9-10 years old, I fired an arrow from an archery bow straight into the air on our property.

Didn't see it come back down to land, but when it did it was like magic how it appeared in the ground

**** me the sucker went about 1/3 to half its length into the ground.

After that one & only shot, went straight back to aiming at the lil targets we set up. Scared the **** out me, started thinking what could have happened not only to me, but anyone/anything near by.

Sounds like yall got lucky!!! I know it happens but i honestly thought that it was a hick thing in the us. Like backwoods folks who got nothin better to do.
