After the I hate my job thread, I was wondering who was working over the holiday.

Never did, hopefully never will on Christmas. It's my birthday... Turning the big 4-0 this year.

But I pretty much work all the other ones... for years. Since any good holidays has racing events...

You forgot the other important day, Australia Day :cheer:

The only people who need to work that day are fast food employees, petrol station attendants & bar staff at the pub :thumbup:

I work in finance and have off this coming Monday for Columbus Day, clearly we are exempt from working on Christmas

Gotta love bank holidays..I think we get 12 a year!

Back when I did prisoner transportation we had every weekend and holiday off, did that for 4 years. After I moved to patrol all of that is out the window. I don't mind working holidays as I don't have kids and don't have any family close by to spend it with. I'll let the other deputies have it off so they can spend it with their families. Criminals and idiots never take days off. Job security.
