Yup, it takes just that ONE time not wearing gear....

Well that really jogged my memory......Years ago, I had a friend who was doing the very same thing, working on his bike at an apartment complex, took it for a spin around the parking lot without a helmet on, the throttle stuck, he hit a curb and that was that. His mother took him off life support a few days later.
