will a grab bar from a 2008/9 fit a 2005?

I need to replace the passenger grab bar on my 2005 FZ6, and I'm also thinking about having the bike painted black...So why not buy a grab that comes black from the factory (I think either 2008 or 2009). My question is, is this part exactly the same from year to year?

I looked the part up and the S-1 (2004 to 2006) FZ6 part number from Ron Ayers is 5vx-24773-00-p3, The S-2 (2007 to 2009) FZ6 part number is 5vx-24773-00-p6. I think the only difference is the paint p3 vs p6?
