I get keepers all the time. When I go out in my Kayak, fishing..
When you start looking at yaks, give us a buzz. I'm carrying a fair bit of yak knowledge round in my head these days:cheer:.
Oh we are looking now...we had a ball the other day...paddled solid for about 4 hours....great workout, and very relaxing at the same time...and i can smoke while i get fit! :spank:
we must talk!
No wukkas mate:thumbup:. I've got three myself...lol. Can be anything you want. Relaxing, exhilarating or just chugging away on a long haul, but they are always good exercise....Even when I'm sailing my Outback I like to pedal and see how fast I can go...lol....Hmmm....Motorbikes, cars and trying to skim my kayak....you know, I think I might be a hoon:cheer::rockon::rockon:....LMAO
Oh! and the Outback has cup holders for your beer.
:hijack:![]()
Pedals and Cup holders...now we are talking! MP will be impressed...oh no, a new addiction! oh and did i tell you she like fishing...caught a catfish the other day with a reel and line!
There is no feeling like catching fish from a yak....especially bigguns:thumbup:.
Yup...Pedals:thumbup:...and a sail.

If it's only occasional then Something cheaper may be in order.
Wet ride but fairly stable and a very good yak to paddle....The perception Swing...

What am I thinking....Nearly every yak ever invented is in the AKFF Wiki....

You can also sometimes pick up good deals on second hand yaks on AKFF.
Some have fishfinders etc. thrown in so you don't have to set it up your self.

Just don't hang a towel over the side, you may get unwanted visitors during the fishing relaxation :spank: :rof:

well it's that time if the week again, time for me to head into the dust that is our countryside in SA, and make my weekly trek to the riverland! I think I am up to part 7 in this "series" now...
This time I have researched a route that takes in a few more bike riding friendly roads on the way, might take me a little longer, but my tires will be much better looked after, and less likely to run the risk of getting squared off from long runs on very straight roads...and me from getting so bored that I lose focus!
When I get there this time, won't be doing much touring, as I am going horse riding close to where I am staying, which will be fun, love getting on a horse and letting it have it's head, and go for a bit of a gallop!
Still, these weekly trips areaveraging out at about 750km's each time, so the bike is getting a bit of a workout and I seem to be getting improved upper body strength.
Will try and get some decent photos of SA's outback from the back of the horse...as per usual, will post for our international friends to see.
