One hell of a long career for Carlos! This season was a bust for him on the Panigale.

Former World Superbike Champion and MotoGP race winner Carlos Checa has confirmed he is retiring from motorcycle racing after 20 successful years at the highest level of competition.

Say it isn't so . Aww man, I had him on my fantasy team at MCN. This season was bullocks, Ducati was a piece of a **** compared to 2012 and the several crashes he suffered this year really did him in.
He is a great rider and a great champion. Spoke his mind. Sport will miss him.

Speaking of MCN, I found out this morning that I came in 4th out of tens of thousands for this round. I deserve a coffee for that one!
