Sounds like a nice, well thought out evolution of the Fazer line. Motorcycledaily puts out solid information so this review is probably 90-95% accurate for potential riders.

This thing is getting pretty good reviews (not the least by our new members). I liked the last line of the article: "Now all Yamaha needs is people who want to ride, not pose." Looks to be a pretty good setup unless you are planning to flog at the track. If it came with ABS in the US (still not clear to me) it would be a better bike for normal usage.

I wonder if Yamaha will continue to sell the FZ6 going forward. It's almost like they over engineered (and overpriced) the FZ6 and are producing a scaled back version at a reduced price. But the bikes are so similar in features and price, I can't see them continuing both models.
