My last bike was a 2003 Yamaha XT 225 dual sport. It was cheap to insure, got 70 mpg and would run 65-70 mph. It had decent highway manners, but it did fall short when compared to my buddies road bikes.


I love my FZ6, but I'm kicking myself for getting rid of the dual sport. I enjoyed exploring logging roads, trails and other remote locations the FZ6 simply cannot ride on.

If the opportunity presents itself, I would like to purchase another dual sport for those days where I feel like exploring.
