Ha ha ha, no idea about that tower.
But, if I recall correctly, at the end of pier, there is a small restaurant (gift shop) ?? ???
It's been really long time that I've visited there, and I didn't walk out the pier bridge today.

Yes, it is.
I think that I saved at least 30 min to an hour on the road by splitting lane.
Whoever invented the lane split >> Thanks.. for him/her/them.. ha ha ha
It's a really great idea.
