I always have high expectations of my Patriots' season. As far as their draft is concerned, they always seem to make smart moves bar a few. They always throw a curve ball and set themselves up nicely for next years draft.
Now we just have to hope that they actually play this season!

Humperdinkel, the Pack drafted one of my favorite University of Kentucky players ever...Randall Cobb. Trust me, that kid is going to be the STAR of this draft and you are going to be VERY happy you got him! He's a great slot receiver and kick returner, and can run the Wildcat at QB (not that the Packers will do that...but he did play QB for a while at Kentucky).
I've been a Bengals fan my entire life, but I've been a Packers fan since the mid-90's when Favre was in his prime. Them drafting Cobb may have just pushed me to being a bigger Pack fan than Bengals fan...lol. :thumbup:

Note that the above is tongue in cheek from a poor slob who has had Bengals season tickets for quite a while. Right now I am so disgusted with the NFL labor situation, which I summarize as an argument between two bunches of whining cry-babies about how to extract even more money from their fans, that I'm not sure I will continue past this season.

we've had some tough years, looking back at the 4 consecutive Super Bowl
losses as the good years now....anyway, my team needs everything,
and I think they did pretty well in the draft focusing on defense...they
were dead last in the league against the the run last year and spent the
#3 over all pick on a D lineman that can play in the 3-4 and the 4-3 and
is a massive force against the run, added a pair of DB's who sound good,
overall I think they drafted well and were wise to build with the D first,
they do need a QB but Fitz is ok for now and if the season starts to show
some promise can add a veteran FA...that's if there is a season

Ha, ha, SirIsaac...yep, you know EXACTLY how it is and why Bengals fans usually feel like an abused dog. You get beaten down over and over, yet you just keep coming back for more and thinking this will be the year they get over the hump...not.
And the labor situation is a joke! And the fact that the NBA isn't smart enough to see how the NFL is screwing up and might have it's own lockout is just beyond pathetic (although I'm not as much of a NBA fan as I am college basketball and NFL). The last thing fans want to hear, in these crappy economic times, is two sets of millionaires and billionaires crying over money! How out of touch are these guys with normal Americans??? It's pathetic.
As far as the Bengals go...until they get an owner that's willing to spend some money, they're always going to be the doormat of the AFC. And they HAVE to stop taking flyers on players with character issues and veterans that are famous in name only. To me, the real slide began a couple of years ago when they traded away TJ Houshmandzadeh but kept Chad Johnson (I'm sorry, but I refuse to call him Ocho Cinco when all he does is run his mouth. And I used to love him). Terrell Owens? Really? Although, he turned out to be the only good option last year. And don't even get me started on Carson Palmer (my damn cat is named after him!) I mean, I can't blame him for wanting out, but be a man about it! You sound like a little spoiled brat..."I'm taking my ball and going home!"
So, yeah...I'll probably be pulling for (and watching) the Pack a bit more than the Bengals this year. At least until Cincy shows me they care about something other than taking fans money!

Honestly, it seems he's going to stick by the "trade me or I'll retire" threat. And the Bengals owner, a known idiot, has repeatedly said he WILL NOT trade him. I know it's not great to let the inmates run the asylum, but in this case, the Bengals should at least shop him and try to get some good value as opposed to letting him just walk away.
And you're exactly right on the injury. He was JUST starting to "get it" in the NFL when that happened. He has definitely never been the same. His accuracy is gone because he's scared to commit himself to truly step into his throws, and you just can't play like that.

I too am a Bills fan. I've been a fan since their first Super Bowl trip (I was only 10 and wasn't much into football until then). Been paying for it ever since.
I like the Dareus pick-up, but I'm really intrigued by their last pick, Jasper. A ~400lb NT that looks to be incredibly agile for someone his size.

yeah I read about that guy a bit today...reminded me of Ted Washington...
a guy like that in the middle eating 2 blocks should be good for keeping
the backers clean....I'd look for Poz to have a good year this coming season

He topped out somewhere around 440 in college, which just doesn't sound healthy at all. He's dropped down to about 370. He's a big boy, for sure, but he's not one of those gross fat guys. He's just BIG. I'll be interested to see how he comes up to speed in the NFL. I think that'll be the biggest question mark. He played for small schools because of bad grades. I definitely see him in on goal-line packages to start with. Between him and Kyle Williams, the LB's just did a little jig.

Im pretty happy with the way we drafted , we took Derek Sherrod in the 1st round who seems to be a bloody good Offensive Lineman out of Mississippi State , never seen him play but from all reports is a great buy & in time could really work well on the opposite side to Bulaga :thumbup:
With a HUGE wrap like that I look forward to big things from this unknown

Long story short it goes way back to the early 80's when I was just a boy , saw a game on TV between the Packers :rockon: & I think from memory it was Denver , we were down BIG & in the last quater we came back to within 1 point , we still lost the game
but that never give up fighting spirit stuck with me & the mighty Packers became my team :rockon: :rockon:Just wish I had some more friends here where I live that like the game as much as I do so we can get together & trash talk each other
