Bee's can sting through jeans
I made this experience 2 hours ago, driving to work.
I didn't even noticed her, going about 100 km/h, I felt a sudden pain on my leg, but I thought it couldn't be a sting, because I was wearing Jeans.
As the pain got worse and expanded further, I looked down only to see that there is a bee stinging me, captured between my leg and the tank.
I removed her with my fingers as I slowed down, trying to keep concentration to pull over on a 3-lane highway. The pain continued getting worse. Only when I stopped and looked closer, I saw that the sting was still in my leg!
I waited for 5 minutes after removing the sting, and I continued driving to work.
PS: I believe that the pain would be much more severe if the bee wouldn't have to penetrate the jeans to get to my skin, and also the venom would be injected much deeper causing massive pain and expansion.
