Couple of friends flew to Vegas for Interbike few weeks ago. Rode a $14k KHS road bike .......but the one he raved about was one of these.... Moonlander | Bikes | Surly Bikes

Said it was the coolest/most fun thing he's ever ridden....by far. Not sure how they'd be on the singletrack you were riding.

Those bikes are taking over like wildfire! I see them everywhere, including on the trail I shot the video above. Funny.. you can hear them coming from pretty far away from all the tire noise!

You have some nice trails by you! I agree about the fat bikes, too. Ive seen more and more of them lately. 29er is large enougn for me lol.
