  • The seed has been planted, my wife's okay with another ride, my vacation is 7-4 to 7-13 so anytime after that and I'm ready to ride. I have not gotten a hold of Tim yet and Brian has declined (I think the last ride was to much). I'll call Tim this week
Talk to Chad today. He's ready to ride, he 's replacing his front seal this weekend.
So now all we need to do is come up this the dates.
woo hoo. noticed the difference as soon as I rode out the garage, front wheel started lifting down the road! That is with dyno tune and airfilter in. I'm running 94.6 hp @12127 rpm. I think if i got a cat eliminator pipe i would get a couple more.
look's like we're trying to set something up for early august.. Chad's wife's is a teacher,so we have to get the ride in before school starts.
any thoughts on a route let me know
Looking at getting my rear sets and bar risers powder coated black as well. Just waiting for a sunny day so I can take some photos of how the bike is looking now.
Mate I'm having my bike tuned today with it being installed. I pick it up in a few hours so I guess we'll know around the same time. I was warned it could run lean and burn the valves without tuning. Whether that is true or not I don't know. Maybe on earlir fizzers without o2 sensor
Thanks for the reply... what brand did you get? It looks good. Does most of the brand for 06 R1 and R6 fits? Thanks again.
Thanks buddy, that is what I planned to do. I think with a k+n filter in it won't need the mod to get more air anyway.
Hey mate, just seen tht you are reversing the air box mod. Have you had problems with it? I was thinking about doing it but am worried about making the bike run too lean without tuning it.
Thanks man for the rep point! It's good to know I am not the only one seeking the "truth" lol cheers man!
