Well, They do scrape pavement rather easily but they are so comfortable. Notice I am enjoying the surroundings more with this bike now that I can relax a bit more. Not that I am less cautious really, just I am not riding this bike in a way that requires me to be calculating two curves ahead. :)

Glad you are OK. I think about deer every time I'm on the bike and pass the spot where I hit one a few years back in my truck. I remember what a jolt it was in a mid sized pickup, hate to feel that on a bike. Whats the next ride going to be? Another Yamaha?
