Hay Kaz. Nice to know I was missed! With this terrible economy here in the states I've been scrambling to keep my crew busy. Traveling for work out of town became a necessity. It sucks being on the road but it is what it is. I don't see much improvement in the trades so far. Things are very slow. On the upside I just got 2 new tires and I'm back and ready to ride. I'll be more in touch for the summer. Promise!
Kaz, that is Table Mountain in Cape Town in the background. That picture was taken on Christmas Day 2010 The majority of the city of Cape Town sits in the "bowl" at the foot of the mountain. The flat top of the mountain is 1,040m above sea level and the peak on the right is approximately 13km from where the bike is. This view is looking almost exactly south-west.
Where my bike is parked is almost exactly the same distance south of the equator as Sydney Harbour Bridge.
