Note on the speedo bracket, I purchased it new from a member on this forum. It works well, but it vibrated and cracked. I had to add a second piece of metal to it as a reinforcement...
For sale:
R6s fork, spacer kit, axle and axle nut.
$350 + shipping.
Note, the spacer kit is missing one of the bolts that holds the fender on. It rattled out on me, but the fender was fine without it. You can pick up a replacement at your local hardware store.
EDIT: All the easy parts have been removed, I'll start individual threads for each of the more difficult items as they come off the bike. Thanks for the interest!
Just in case anyone is in the market for wheel chocks, I just wanted to post and say how impressed I am with the Baxley Sport Chocks. These things are incredibly stable and make loading by yourself a breeze. They even double as great parking stands when you're not transporting your bike. Of...
Well... after riding one last season I finally did it.
Picked up a 2014 Triumph Street Triple R yesterday.
The bike only has 2,600 miles on, came with a sweet SC Project exhaust and the Triumph Quickshifter! I have a feeling the FZ6 might collect some dust this season.
I recently took a vacation down to the Smokey Mountains and figured I would get some riding in. Rather than tow my beloved 2009 FZ6 I set about figuring out what I could rent.
After a very brief period of research I settled on this 2012 Triumph Street Triple R from Sportbikes4Hire. I picked...

What are the sleekest ways to attach ram mount to our bikes? Just got myself a TomTom and it comes with the reservoir mount, but it makes the GPS way too high and over bearing for my tastes. I'd rather getting it closer to the speedo. Btw, I have a naked bike so that does limit my options...
I would say my FZ6 has soul.
It's pretty much the definition of modern Japanese four cylinder appliance, but.... it's got this lovely sound at idle and has this sort of jekyll and hyde power band that sounds ridiculous above 7,000 rpm, not to mention it's a great looking bike!

Hey guys,
I'm having a bit of a throttle sticking issue.
Basically if I put a lot of slack into the throttle cable it doesn't stick at all, but when I adjust the slack out of the cable it sticks.
What's the best way to have a throttle without slack, but also that doesn't stick?
Thanks!
I've narrowed down my next bike purchase to either the BMW S1000R or Suzuki GSXS1000.
I've been set on the BMW since it was released but I'm starting to have some reservations.
I'm actually starting to think the GSXS1000 might be better than the S1000R. The differences are seemingly minor...
