can anyone offer help on this intermittent problem?
rough idle
down to what sounded like 3 cylinders
turned bike off, would not start again
battery seemed flat
fitted new battery
bike idled fine
went for long run came home parked up.
started next day and was fine...
bike in northern ireland

Does anyone know of a UK or possibly european supplier of a matt black crankcase cover for an '08 FZ6 S2?

As per title. Looking at a MOTAD cat bypass pipe £60. I have a 2008 bike. The pipe is listed as suitable for 2005/2006 and shop says it will fit.

I know there has been loads of posts on exhausts, and I have used these to come to this decision.
Let me know your thoughts as this is probably the biggest spend I will have on the bike and want to get it right!

I have tried to search the forum to no avail.
I am aware the new style of Scorpions work with spacers and the givi rack, but do the older style stainless scorpions fit without modification together with the GIVI rack?

a fellow biker in our local club recently bought a series 1 fz6 with full service history up to 18000 miles
unfortunately he had a crash - him and bike are OK - but he had fairing/slight frame/bars/forks damage.
The bike is worth repairing but it needed a new speedo display/fairing...

I got a very cheap late 2003 model (silver coloured engine). It is the newer shaped/chassis/fairing FZ6 even though it has a 53 reg, (it's not an fzs600) but I have been told that it is apparently 78ps because it's engine...

I am based in Ireland and have just bought an fz6 following all the rave reviews.
I got a very cheap late 2003 model but have naively discovered through lack of research that this model (silver coloured engine) is apparently 78ps versus the 98ps of the 's2' model.
Is this correct and...
