Well i have my fingers crossed that the deal will go through! its an 07 charcoal r6 with 5k miles. It has flushmount blinkers and integrated taillight with FE kit. The deal is my bike plus 3k, the r6 is flawless and i have been wanting to get rid of my bike for a while so im really hoping this...
i would def go with the fz. I know a couple people with the kawi and in my opinion it just isn't made as well. Its definitely slower, and there is no windscreen for long rides.(not that the fz has very good wind characteristics).
As for a starter bike, it was my first bike and had no...
my roommate has an 03 sv650 and his fastest time of the day was a 13.08. one of the other guys in the club i went with was riding an sv1000 and never broke 12.4..
that doesn't do much and is a waste of time IMO. alittle different sound but nothing louder. that straight pipe video the OP posted actually does sound good. And i believe that loud pipes can help with safety, i know several times while in my truck i have heard bikes before i have seen them.
fastest time of the day was an 11.88. Everyone feel free to post their times, i don't know if this is a good time or not? it was my first time to do that so i was learning. my first 3 or 4 runs were mid 12's and then worked my way down.
if a chain was jumping teeth it would be a pretty rough feeling and noisy, if it was tire slip then most likely you would feel your back end get light or move around a little bit, i would bet its the clutch. how many miles?
actually i do very much value my g/f's life. i don't know if you don't understand where im talking about putting the helmet, or maybe you're just ignorant, but if your helmet hits something that you or your bike didn't hit then thats to close of a call anyway. Aside from it not being able to...
i don't think it makes a difference cold verse hot. unless the book mentions it specifically i wouldn't take it into account. and ive never heard of that being a factor anyway.
how is carrying a helmet like that the worst way? my roommate has an sv650 that has two places for helmets under the passenger seat. once you put them on the loops and put the seat back on, they don't move at all while riding. I don't see how that is a bad way to carry a helmet.
