-1f +2 rear, gas, tack, help!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going crazy here and need some help. I did the 520 conversion and the speeedohealer mod. Now comes the problem, and for off the big guy's who know the bike inside and out. The SPEEDO said i had to -14.8, which was easy, and i know that the tack would be off. I am finding that my mile per gallon would be off. I top off and mean top off the tank, hit the trip A and see how many mile i get before i need to gas up again (i wait till the blinker comes on). So i rode the bike and keep looking at the tack, OK the blinker (GAS BLINKER) cam on and went to refuel. BUT, before refueling i looked ant the tack and i saw 127 miles. Now, i put the bike on the center stand like i always do to top off and @ 2.39 (92 oct) the tank tops off at 3.5 to 3.8. I am stupid but i cant understand this. I can't figure out how many miles i get per mile or per tank. Do i just look how many miles i went and the double it. PLEASE HELP AN IDIOT.

Divide miles traveled by gallons fo fill up. 127 miles divided by 3.5 gallons = 36.3 mpg. SpeedoHealer should fix odo as well, I think! Good luck, ready

It just seems that i am refueling allot quicker.

you'll be refueling quicker since the +1 / -2 will make the bike rev higher for the same speed

Also keep in mind that the odometer will still be off. AFAIK the speedohealers don't adjust the ODO measurement.

Our speedos are off but our odos are accurate. Using a speedohealer will correct the error in the speedo but the odo will read less distance. That's the way I remember it.

FWIW, the SpeedoHealer V4 claims to fix your odometer as well as your speedometer... More fuel on the fire?
I'll test against my GPS in a week or so to be sure! :thumbup:

The way i was looking at it was, what ever miles i did i would double it but then again i am not good with the whole numbers and stuff.
