A new mod idea, guitar case, (just an idea)

Well, I have been thinking about this for awhile and probably going to go through with the process of creating a guitar case that can latch to the fz6 side. I intend to use of the mounts already been created for the fz6 and use it to work with a guitar case. Anyway this is just an idea so far.

I think that would be a great mod to tackle!!

I've actually seen bikes with side mounted golf clubs on before (not an FZ6 mind you) and even hockey sticks.

I'm sure it can be done!

interesting idea as I've only ever seen people carry guitar cases like backpacks with a couple of shoulder straps.

Wonderful idea !! Curious as to what axe you're going to carry? Will you use an existing hard shell case with mount adapters or full on custom set up? Keep us posted ( pun-intended):rockon:

Currently I have a Schecter C-1 Classic with a hardcase i bought, I will add to the case I currently have. Not sure how I will do it, but it does need to be done because I work in a small music store (NOT guitar center) :Flip:
Anyway, After it warms up a little more I will start looking for hardware to use . I currently need to find a rack for the bike first, but not sure which would be good to use for multipurpose because I would also like to get cases for it too eventually when I get more $$$, Right now I got a few mods coming in at the end of the month but One step out of time.

Hey if I can get one guitar to work, ill be happy, i was thinking about the type of case, i might have to get a guitar case thats shaped like a guitar because im afraid a rectangular guitar case will throw off the air current that goes around the bike,, i might be just paranoid though.

HAHA 45 is about the speed limit with golf clubs on the back. Any faster and they start to jump around on the passenger seat lol

The problem is with that is that I am afraid that my guitar headstock will get messed up from the pressure of the wind. Again paranoia...
