Was adjusting my mirrors today when I realized I could get a better view by rotating the outside edges down!
By having them like that you get a larger field of view with the image of the road going from the upper-outer corner to the lower-inner corner (they are now near level) and you get a better view of your blind-spot from your mirror.(You should still check with your Mk IV Eye Balls though) Looks like a win-win situation to me! Give it a try, you may like it. It also makes my faired bike(named Felix the Cat) look like a mad cat with it's ears laying down!
