I say no. I don't want to hear Mike talking to me all the time, telling me if I do something wrong Would be handy to know if there was a danger ahead though

Mike and I have talked about this a few times. He thinks it's good, I don't. I like to sing to myself while I'm riding and don't want my songs drowned out by a running commentary

If dont want to talk, you can turn yours off! I am thinking about it, wireless connection to GPS commands, Ipod - Iphone, etc.

I hate having headphone cords hanging down, getting tangled in my jacket, etc, and bud style headphones are a pain in the ear...literally.

Kel & I have UHF's with helmet coms but no Bluetooth , still trying to get my head around MP3 player & UHF together....

On another note , we may have another QLD couple on the trip... They are just looking into acommodation in the same area's we are staying :thumbup:

Seriously , since they paid off there house he seems to change bikes weekly Lucky bugger buys it , rides it till he gets bored then trades it n the next one :thumbup:.... But this week he has a Kwaka KLR chook chaser , well he did last weekend anyway :BLAA: But im guessing he may well settle in on another CB1300 for the trip :thumbup:

I have been with Mikey, when he has been doing a little of this, i am not against it, seems like harmless fun, and a wee bit of adventure, which can never be a bad thing....there will be GPS's a plenty on the trip!

Got a new mod today for the big tour

Today i went out with Jess to look for some new gear for Jess....She needs a better helmet, a decent set of all weather pants, boots, some decent waterproof, and warm gloves...

Managed to get some decent gloves sorted, Dririder Vantage (womens fit), and some nice Dririder pants...fitted her the best out of the RST, Dianese, and Dririder variants, and we also got her a really nice set of Dianese touring boots (jealous!)..

As for a Helmet, i think we may end up getting a HJC...Jess tried one today, one with a drop down tinted "visor", underneath the normal clear visor...and it's a very sexy pink!

Im starting to work out clothing/gear for the trip & im wondering how much everybody else is taking ??? We dont want to take to much but dont want to run short either so has anybody sorted a "checklist" of sorts ???

Tossing up between clear helmet visor & sunnies or tinted visor , not really expecting to be doing all that much night touring so im thinking tinted visor would be suffice , how bout the rest of ya's ??
