I have a Scorpion 1000 now and it's OK but have had issues with the drop down sun shield, it's heavy and it's noisy even with ear plugs. The RF1100 are very quiet helmets and also has cutouts for helmet speakers. The RF1100 added removable liners, a new mechanism that pulls the shield into the helmet against the gasket for an air and water tight seal and improved airflow over the RF1000.

Makes me wonder if they are coming out with a new model again. Same thing happened with the RF1000's before the RF1100 came out.

Great deal nonetheless for an awesome helmet. I've had two RF1000s and they're awesome.
