Hi guys,

Just about to pull the trigger on a pair of pilot road 3's but I'm a little worried about a couple of things.

The vast majority of my riding is done on the road, but I am planning on doing two or three trackdays next year. Just a little concerned that the abuse the tyre would take at the track could cause quite severe cupping to develop rather quickly (this tyre appears to have many more grooves for water disperson, making me think that it may be more prone to cupping?)

Also, is there a possibility of overheating the tyre and causing damage that way? (the case of that one early set of PR3's is still lingering in the back of my mind )

Thanks in advance for your insight
