Can you identify this 80's Yamaha model?

This used to be my father's ride back in the 80's, looks like a nice little 125cc bike.

I tried searching a bit but there's so many similar looking bikes from back then!
I recently found this photo which must be from around 1980-1981, that's my mother sitting on it and my older sister on the left!:BLAA:

+1 ^.

I had a 1975 RD 350, bright orange with the same style decals. Quick bike!

If its orange, I'd put my money on it being a 1975 as Yamaha changed colors about every year...

Thank you for the replies guys!

The color was a deep red/burgundy.
Based on the photos I found on the net for the RD125, it had a dual exhaust.
The one on my photo has one exhaust on the right side only.
It's quite close I believe but not exactly that one!

The deep red, I believe, was in 1974, no reed valves(a friend had a 74 RD 250that was deep red..

The 1975 model was the first year for the RD Yamaha used reed valves..

Hi,

its definitly not a RD125 (i had one of those) because thats a twin.

But i'm quite sure to say its an Yamaha RS 125 like the one in this picture.

Thank you, it looks way better now!
It should be an RS 125 then, the photo is very close, even the decals match.
Just a small difference in the back suspension I guess.;)

Edit: Found exact match!
