Caught a Nail

well the inevitable has happened. After almost 9 years of riding, i got my first nail today. im glad that i found it before going on a long ride. well 200 bucks nd an hr later im the proud new owner of a pilot power 2ct.. anyone have any real experience with these tires..so far im impressed..well see after it breaks in

9 years sound like you are really lucky.

I had a pilot power 2ct as my last tire. I enjoyed it, it eventually squared off in the middle thanks to all my commuting to school. Lasted a little over a year, ~10,000 miles. When it was getting low and square, I had a blowout on the highway (didn't wreck though), but it turned out to be the valve stem, somehow it split in half. I took the opportunity to replace the tire as well at the time.
