Changed my ten year old coolant - Pitch Black and gross

I had to flush four times before the water came out clear. The gallon you're looking at is the original coolant + one distilled water flush. I replaced it with engine ice.

Things to note now :

Bike runs much cooler, about 10 degrees. However, I noticed it does heat up faster. Usually by the time I'm geared up and backing it down my driveway it still reads "Lo".

Now, it's reading a temperature of around 110. I have some ideas as to why that is happening, not sure if it's good or bad.

Yup, sucked it out with a hand pump.

oops, that's another thing I've NEVER looked at on my bike... 72k miles on my 2007 fz6 and I have never removed the radiator cap.

There's a reservoir?
