Dashboard has no reading

Hi,

Has anyone faced with this issue before? I could start my bike with no problem, but the bike's dashboard just doesn't have any reading. So I wouldn't know the speed, odometer, tachometer, temperature and petrol left on the bike.

I don't know what's wrong with it. This problem just popped out suddenly.

Is the clock showing? Does the high beam and directional indicators on the instrument panel light?

Well the clock has reading but the high beam and directional indicators on the instrument panel does not light up.

I get this when the key is not fully turned in the ignition barrel.
I can start the bike and ride it but the lights and dash aren't on.
All started after a theft attempt, grrrrr!!

This is really interesting.

Found out the reason why... My headlight cord is failing, that's why. Now waiting for the part to arrive in Singapore.
