Exhaust Question

So last summer I eclipsed 10,500 miles. This year I've done a few hundred miles and I have noticed a change in the pitch in the exhaust. It seems a bit throatier now than before. My buddy said something about it having a lower/louder sound as well. Has anyone experienced this? Don't get me wrong I'm happy with it, just wondering...

Is the bike about 12 years old? J/K Or...does it have a stock exhaust or aftermarket?

mine was a bit like this, i noticed it after i had had the front forks off and the bike supported by the headers. don't know if it was like that before though

i thought it might have been a slight air leak from headers
