Thanks Jon! You don't need crash cage to do gravel roads! lol
Follow this link!!! Its back to the look out and is gravel free I think!

Although this "looks like" straight lines, the roads are far from straight!
This is from RippleBrook to High Rocks!

On you...or the car?:BLAA:Yeah the Ripple Brook Ranger Station area is fun
My riding style on a bike is slower than it was 20-30 years ago but I still can't resist pushing the envelope once and awhile.
In my Miata it's a different story. I will do things in that car I would never consider doing on a bike. And I have the claw marks from my wife's nails to prove it
Jon...
Cool thanks!
I think the first part is the road to Timothy Lake. I've never taken the cut off up to Abbot Rd. (point A) before.
When I was up at Ripple Brook last weekend they had a detour (the other route on the map link you provided) using NF-4630 to the cut-off because part of NF-57 was closed. But I've never been up to High Rocks so I'll add the route to my list and check it out next time I ride up that way.
I better get some rest. Have to go back to work tonight.
Thanks for the route,
Jon...

I'm thinking I might have to take a northern route out west and visit on my trip. These are some great pic's but I don't think I'd be into putting knobbies on my bike for a road trip. :BLAA:
It was a fun day Randy. Thanks I really liked the back way to get there to Estacada. Not much traffic at all. Then we hit 224. Good fun.
