frame paint code (OEM code)

Hi,

i have a FZ6 2006 model with the DPBMC (deep purplish blue metallic) color on the tank and cowlings. I need some paint matching the color on the frame and engine, but i don't know the paint code, It's a kind of black metallic i believe. Does anybody know the code?? my bike is for the european market, but i don't think this have anything to say for the paint code.

I'm pretty sure the frame is powder coated, not painted.

depends what shop you go to.
motorcycles do not have typcial universal paint codes cars have.

When spraying PPG my code comes up with 0996 (same as the colorbrite swatch) but when I switch over to Glasurit the code does not exist in their system. Same goes for Sikkens etc etc etc

best bet will be to go to a body shop and talk to the painter, they will then be able to call a paint rep and then they will be able to search their archives to find the right color codes, your main will be the color of your bike and trim will be the powdercoated parts.
and yes, the rest of the bike is powdercoated but you can find paint that will match.
but it wont adhere as well as a powdercoating will
