labeling is absolutely key, I rebuilt a T56 this weekend and I ended up taking an industrial roll of paper and laying it out on the floor in my shop and setting each snap ring, syncro, gear, etc out on the paper in the order and orientation in witch it came out. made going back in alot easier.

Man... this was a good read. Unfortunate you had to loose $750 but to see a catastrophic failure turned everything a-ok... brightened my day.
