Hey guys,

Got the RAM Mount from MountGuys.com today and considering the weather (crazy thunderstorms off and on all day), decided it was time to put it on the bike.

Haven't road tested yet (see above comment) but it feels rock solid.

Mio MOOV 310 - $205 from amazon.com
RAM Mount RAM-B-149Z-PD2 - $45 from mountguys.com
*This is a generic PDA holder, but it grabs onto the Mio very securely.
SAE-2 Cigar lighters converter - $26 from spoiledbiker.com

Installation was easy and straight-forward, about 10min or so. Oh, and please ignore the amazingly cluttered garage - I rent an apartment and it's not mine! It took me and a buddy almost 4hrs (and a 6pack) just to clear out a space that barely fits the bike!

That middle tab is on a spring-loaded track that slides in and out to "grab" the GPS.

That's how I initially mounted my TomTom with the same RAM mount, but decided to put the handlebar clamp off to one side so I could bend the mount into a "Z" to get the TomTom over the centre of the bars. I have this notion that it will help protect the GPS from vibration and such. I like your "one-into-two" power adaptor. Neat!
