Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

That's a lot of PMing...lol.

Just got back, as you might have guessed. My soft and wussy workmate pulled out too...lol. Phone rang a minute after the rain started...lol...He lives five minutes away:spank::spank:.

Well, it was wet. It was windy. It was weally a wather well earned coffee at Victor:cheer:...lol.

Got some video, and some action snaps taken from the tank:rockon:...lol.

The 'D' road is in awesome shape. Rumors of big holey bits seem to be just that....rumors:spank::spank::thumbup:.

Been a while since I got seriously chilly on the bike but managed just that as I was nearing Victor.

Anyhow, I'll slap up some pics and vid in the pics and vid section:D.

hey SA fizzers, just noticed that we have hit 1000 posts in the SA ride thread....epic job boys! Guess we should call this Sundays group ride the 1000 post ride....very appropriate that we are doing the "D" road! :rockon:

Just got home from my first ride of my new FZ6N.
Firstly wheeeeee what fun.
Secondly the amount of rain I got caught in was ridiculous especially on new tread but we survived.

Wolfman Raincheck....lol thats funny considering. Add me to msn or perish! :spank:

Glad you got home in one piece...was a bit wild and wooly out there yesterday arvo....am guessing the next chance we will get to have a ride is this sunday's group ride....cant wait to see that new bike.

Sontaneous night ride about to happen.....yep, Mikey & Me are about to brave the cold....and go Koala Hunting!

Well, just got back from Mikey's & my little night ride...very sedate, pretty much a cruise through the twistie's, hardly touched the brakes, just riding the torque, and using the engine brakes....very nice night out, little cold, but no wind, or more importantly, rain.

Stopped for Coffee, and in my case...soup & a choccy eclair!

Had a Roo join us for our ride for about 500 metres, just hopping along the road in front of me...quite casual he was...

Anyway, was lovely to get out on the bike, with no cagers about.

Likewise mate. Casual night cruises with very little traffic are the go. And as far as critters go, if you aren't "On it" too much they are no real hassle...much safer to be around than a ...well....4wd for instance...lol

Looks like it's just the die hards and the new bloke, everyone else is just too soft PMSL:spank::spank::ban:. At least i don't have to buy many victuals...lol.
or cook on both BBQs. Might be able to convince a couple new riders on 250's to come along for the ride.

Just hoping I can shame some more hibernating Fizzers onto the road....lol.:D

I got two mates who wanna tag along. One has an R1 and the other a CBR1000. Hope this is ok just thought the more the merrier plus they will join me for the stretch down to the RV point which is going to be sweet on the back roads from mount barker.

That 996 you speak of doesn't have full carbon fibre fairing does it? A mate of mine had his stolen prob 18 months ago, never recovered, it just vanished. It's not like they are everywhere so we thought something might pop up. He lost 35,000 dollars on that cause insurance didn't pay agreed value. I don't really think it is but my guess is that it is in pieces prob in 50 other 996's around the country, he might even have a little on his bike that he found on ebay or somethin.

Lock up your bikes as good as you can, his was bolted and chained to the floor in his garage with his car parked up to the door and they still got it. Check your insurance too!

Not likely....this one is very stock...nice bike though...guy that owns it is a great bloke.

Mate from work is keen Ninja 250 and a pirate bike for when he graduates...CBR600RR...all the ARR's. ( Another Gary...lol...confusion city here we come).

Spoke to a girl at work who's man thing rides a 250 and is looking to upgrade so I asked her to invite him along so at the very least he can come and ogle bikes, modded un-modded and talk to people who ride. Be nice if he joins us for a ride though.


Dave, those kart mania carts are really dangerous and i think you'd be safer on a bike...lol.
Hey mate, kids only have one childhood and my old man was always there for me, so good to see you being there for the young un. I'll get some vid for you...lol...Just don't let anybody see it...lol...or you'll be grounded for ever.

So if everyone mentioned rocks up we'll have 13......AWESOME!

Heads up boys....Spoke To Matty (Silverback) earlier tonight, he reminded me that there are 700 "Rebels' bikers in Adelaide this weekend for a Protest Run.....apparently they are going to be down south on the weekend, which means, so will every cop in known existence! might pay us to plan our route wisely...we are on 2 wheels, and guess what the protest is all about.
