Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

I was looking through the forum and found this old thread lying around and thought I'd give it a bit of a revival.

Saturday.

Leaving BP at Morphettvale @ 10:30 AM

Going up to Clarendon then Corro then back to Cherry Gardens turn, up to Mt Lofty via Stirling and Crafers, across to Ashton, up to Lobie for a bit of a feed. Then down Cudlee Creek road to Fox creek turn to Lenswood and home via the Lobie road etc.

Brisk cornering and speed limit run. Will wait for folk at turns etc.

Don't need peeps to wait for me as I know where I'm going...lol.

There may be the odd folk from another local forum. Dunno yet...just posted.

Can meet folk on the way, or at Lobie etc. Should be a nice day.

Grrr....would love to join you, but i have a gig during the day on saturday...that's right a DJ gig at 11am on a Saturday...some freakin corporate event!

Closer, but no cigar......government job....yes, there is such a thing as a Government job as a DJ!!!!! I have a contract with the Tourism Commision in SA...YES, ME, the Cow print cowboy hat wearing freak has been chosen to represent SA as an entertainer....today, it's a promo gig for next years Tour Down Under....and yes, i do wear the hat!!!!! :Flip:

Told them Yesterday, that i might be a bit quiet when i get there, due to the fact that i dont do mornings, and it might be a good idea to have Red Bull, Vodka, and short blacks on tap!.....They thought i was joking!

Really wish i was riding with you instead Mikey...have been riding all this week, with my new rear suspension...and have been flogging the thing senseless...

Weather sux. Not gonna go sport riding in the rain. Gonna go and buy a rainwater tank.

The only down side to not going riding in the rain is missing that brekky. Always appreciate it more on a cold rainy day.

Mmm...i had my Red Bull & Vodka Brekky...was rather yummy! :rockon:

This weather better improve for tomorrow morning, although i dont think Aidin will be coming....sick as a dog! Spew bucket, and groaning is his day today.

Alright you SA fizzers....the weather this weekend is rockin! So I have decided in my infinite wisdom that it's time for this summer's first night ride/cruise...

Leaving my workshop at 7.30pm, will most probably do a beach cruise first...take in the sights!!!! Get a coffee, before heading for the hills, for a bit of twisty action, and a stop or two at a couple of Adelaide's lookouts....

Would love to have company!!!!

I was....but could not get time off work! The guy I was going with, rang me from PI this afternoon, jumping out of his skin, waxing lyrical about how good the superbike school was, and how awesome the track was!!!

Am now hoping to get over there early next year, after uni goes back, and things in the dj world slow down a bit...

Am actually out on my night ride now....group ride for one!!!!

Having a spot of dinner, before hitting the twisties...

Just came from the beach...squids on litre bikes with shorts, singlets, and square tyres were everywhere!!!

Am thinking I will have the hills pretty much to myself tonight...9pm and it us still 30c outside!!!! Bit windy but!

Anyway, time to get back on the bike!

Well i went for my ride.....90km's of Twisties in the Adelaide hills....including the ol fave...Lobethal Road..

Stopped on the way home to do a bit ogling at the local porn, i mean bike shop...

Yep, $30,065 on road with all the good bits!!!....and that doesnt include insurance!

It's a big ask for a bike! but oh what a bike!

Anyone up for a ride next Monday, the 28th....Figuring a few of you may be on Holidays, and may be able to get out for a sneaky blat, away from family commitments on a monday...

Early start.....8am at Macca's, Darlington.....7.30am if ya wanna eat.

Route, through the Hills to Strathalbyn for a coffee, then back to Adelaide Via the Hills to Birdwood, Tea Tree Gully, etc.

will be done and dusted by midday if we leave at 8am...
