Just came back from 4,300km ride

Me and 2 mates have just finished a 4300km ride from Wellington NSW down the NSW coast and Vic coast across to mount gambier and back again I was on my FZ6N, and the others had an MT09 and an FZ6R.

Australia's parliament house, the police came up to us and asked what we were doing we told them taking a photo, the guys says to us to be quick and leave then talked to us about riding bikes for 20 minutes after lol.

Awesome pics and it looks like it was a great ride! On the treadmill at the gym it has video trails. One of them is through downtown Wellington, it's like a mini vacation for me.

Just edited with some comments on where the photos were, didn't even think of it-im still in recovery mode


The minions were a big hit with the overseas tourists and the kids, even had people hanging out of cars with DSLR cameras to take photos of us!

We all held up ok we had air hawk seats on and they saved our bums big time! Me and my mate with the mt09 had sore shoulders because of the naked bikes but other then that we are good We were gone 6 days all up so an average of about 700km a day. Not 1 problem with any of the bikes. 1 chain adjustment each and a squirt of lube every night was all the bikes needed. Almost got stuck near Cooma in NSW the guy on the mt09 came into town with 70km on the f-trip and put 14L in the tank! That is what yamaha say the tank holds! Almost 300km on that tank though so he did very well.

Hi you are just the one to tell me,i just did 3,000ks from Darwin to Ayres Rock the the Buzz in the bars drove me num what is the fix,have fitted new grips and moved the bars down still buzz??? am told YZ1 bars tks Charlie.Sorry bike is FZ6N 08 model.

I have aftermarket handlebars and top Tripple clamps so I might not be. They are carbon wrapped mx handlebars. Were Very bad for vibes. I had very bad vibes in the bars before the trip. Found some antivibe inserts from a sport atv and put them in. Works amazingly!!! Better then the stock bars with the heavy bar ends.
