It may not be compatible with an FZ6-S2 which you said you had.

IIRC on mine there's a bar that goes from side to side across the bottom rear of the pannier racks behind the number plate holder for extra bracing.

I see. I've also ordered a new 351FZ(Arms)kit from a US seller complete with fitment kit and instructions?
I hope the FZ6R 'lowers' will mount to the 351FZ top arms,then I just need to find a top plate and box for the top rack here.
So very difficult to find a PLX360 side case Givi rack set;I was reading an answer from AI.. I'm considering having these modified by a welder,if need be.
They're on their way to me;I hope I don't have too difficult of a time with fitment.

Graham,will you take a few pictures of the way your lower Givi pannier's rack fits on your FZ6,including the back end with the crossbar ?
I may need to make a few cuts to the rack that's coming to me,and I want to get a pattern to match. thanks,Bill

If you look at the photo I uploaded previously, you can see how it fits on the exhaust clamps (although the allen bolt head is rather rusty in the pic!), then the pannier racks bolt to the rear foot peg pivots.

The cross bar runs from the lower back corner across and behind the number plate mount.

Remember mine is the 2004-2006 FZ6-S, the setup on the S2 was changed slightly, eg with the rear foot peg hangers bolted on, rather than welded on, so it's not guaranteed that yours will match exactly.

Been thinking about panniers for my FZ. Looking at Givi’s site it requires:

Givi 351FZ Rear Rack @ $109
Givi PLX351 V35 Side Case Hardware @ $209
Givi V35 Monokey Side Cases, which Givi doesn’t sell anymore but are available on eBay.

Is that it? I feel as though this seems easy.

I also no longer have the OEM fender on my bike, but if it’s required I could remove the unit off my spare FZ6.

Seems like it.
I found 90% of what you just posted.
I have the PLX350 or 351? and do have the V35 side cases,but not the mounting hardware.
The listing was on Ebay and showed it came came off an FZ6R,and the listing showed it will fit the FZ6 S2 Fazer.

I have also purchased a 351FZ rear rack with mounting hardware,just haven't got the M5 top mount for it.

I think it 'might' be necessary for me to modify the side case racks,and if so I know a welder I can bring it to.
I still have my stock exhaust and rear fender intact.

Hi Gary,I bought the 351FZ with mounting kit new,separately from the lower racks with V35 cases.
I bought the complete lower case racks with both cases used from a large salvage place in NH. off Ebay,pre-Christmas.
I was So pumped to find them.

I thought the price was a misprint !
Before long(if the weather allows)I'll try to install them,then see what-all I need(if anything?)to modify? to get them all to fit

I'm hoping the mounting kit for the 351FZ will also help to mount the lower case racks? maybe a little.
